Manchester United’s Paul Pogba want to share dressing room with Benzema, but not at Real Madrid

Reports stemming from Spain claim Paul Pogba is eager to link up with Karim Benzema, but not at Real Madrid.

Paul Pogba & Manchester United

The future of Manchester United star Paul Pogba has been up in the air for some time now.

Mino Raiola claimed back in December of 2020 that his client was unhappy at Old Trafford, suggesting that it was ‘over’ for him at the club.

This was followed by Raiola once again attempting to drum up speculation surrounding a potential move to Real Madrid for his client.

All of this comes with Pogba now having just less than six months to run on his current Man United contract.

This, of course, means that Pogba is now free to negotiate a pre-contract agreement with foreign clubs.

Pogba wants to play with Benzema

Given Pogba had been linked with a move to Madrid in the past, it is probably not the craziest idea to think that the midfielder could join them in the summer for free.

However, a recent report from Euro Sport, citing Spanish outlet El Nacional, suggests that the Manchester United man may not actually want a switch to the Bernabeu.

This is because they claim that Pogba is eager to share a dressing room with Real Madrid hitman Karim Benzema, but not at Madrid:

Paul Pogba is eager to share a dressing room with Karim Benzema, according to El Nacional, but not at Real Madrid.

Benzema is one of the deadliest finishers in world football and has already scored 20 and assisted eight in 24 ties for Los Blancos this term.

Could Pogba, as well as old teammate Cristiano Ronaldo, persuade the Frenchman to join Man United in the future?
