The channel gives 1.7 million Shopify merchants the ability to spotlight their offerings on Pinterest, making it easier for shoppers to find and access them as they search for inspiration. Merchants are able to upload their catalogs to the platform for free, and can then create shoppable Product Pins that ensure their offerings are discoverable globally.
As Pinterest reports, “97% of the top searches that users make are unbranded, meaning people come to Pinterest to shop for general ideas and not specific brands, giving businesses of all sizes the opportunity to be discovered.”
With the expansion of the partnership, both merchants and shoppers will benefit from a more seamless e-commerce experience that helps to even the playing field.
