A 15-year NBA veteran “The Grindfather” Tony Allen, who that last played for the New Orleans Pelicans in the 2017-18 season, sits down with ESPN’s Jorge Sedano to share what it was like trying to stop the Los Angeles Lakers great Kobe Bryant on the court.

A six-time member on the NBA All-Defensive Team, including three times on the All-Defensive First Team, details his very first meeting with Kobe when Allen played for the Boston Celtics and reacts to Kobe saying Tony was his toughest defender:
