The signing of Montrezl Harrell by the Los Angeles Lakers from the city rivals Clippers was one of the biggest surprises this offseason. LeBron James shed some light on the recruitment process went to get the Sixth Man of the Year to the Lakers.
“”First of all Trez was a next door neighbour. We knocked on his door and said ‘Do you like what’s going on here?’ We knocked on his door and we landed Trez,” LeBron told Allie Clifton and Richard Jefferson on Spectrum SportsNet.
“They [Harrell’s Clippers teammates] actually put that on social media it’s like I’m making this up it’s ‘What?’ We got Trez who’s the Sixth Man of the Year award winner. Who’s gonna help our bench that we struggled with this past year with our bench keeping that up.”
