Jamal Murray, Nikola Jokic combine for 53 points in Nuggets’ Game 2 victory

The Denver Nuggets took over in the Game 2 of the series with the Los Angeles Clippers salvaging a crucial 110-101 victory. Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray combined for 53 points to lead their team to the win.

Murray had 27 points and six assists on 47.6 percent from the field, while the Joker took the Clippers’ post players by storm puttting up 26 points with 18 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 threes.

For the Nuggets, Gary Harris was also vital, as he made some big plays in the closing minutes to allow the Nuggets keep their distance and close out the game.

Denver had impressive defensive play forcing 17 turnovers on Clippers, which finished the contest with 28 percent from beyond the arc and 40 percent from the field.

Kawhi Leonard had 13 points with 4-of-17 from the field. For Doc Rivers’ team, Paul George had a team-high 22 points.

Game 3 of the series is going to take place on Monday.
