Giovani Lo Celso & Tottenham

It’s already been a good transfer window for Spurs.

Tanguy Ndombele has signed from Lyon, while Jack Clarke has joined from Leeds United.

Tottenham have also been linked with a move for Argentine midfielder Giovani Lo Celso during the summer.

Lo Celso is now on his summer vacation following his participation in the Copa America with Argentina.

Local Spanish paper Diario de Sevilla recently reported that Real Betis are looking to sell Lo Celso for 75 million euros.

The paper also revealed that PSG are entitled to 20% of the sell-on fee if Lo Celso switches clubs.

On Saturday, Lo Celso’s move to Spurs could be inching closer as Betis are lining up the South American’s replacement: Nabil Fekir.

Nabil Fekir & Real Betis

Two sources in France are reporting that Betis are trying to sign Lyon’s Nabil Fekir.

Canal Plus reporter Romain Collet-Gaudin has said that Betis are close to signing Fekir for 30 million euros.

The French midfielder may agree a 5-year deal with Betis.

Romain Collet-Gaudin specifically noted that the Fekir deal is dependant on Lo Celso’s exit.

Le Parisien also report on Fekir’s probable move to Betis.

It’s claimed that “Lyon will not stop the departure of their captain” as Fekir’s contract expires in twelve months.

It’s also reported that Fekir could earn 7 million euros a season with Betis.

Finally, it’s noted that Fekir’s deal with Betis has been agreed for weeks, while the midfielder is poised to become Betis’s second most expensive transfer after Denilson.
